The Launceston airport is only 15 minutes away. There are a varied range of farming enterprises being undertaken at Glenayr and all farming is based on organic practices as much as possible. You can see farm animals that include cows with calves, ponies, mini cattle, horses, sheep and lambs. You can stroll through the vineyard and see first hand the vines that produce the wonderful Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer wines available at our cellar door.

Grape varieties at Ryanna Vineyard are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer and are well suited to our cool climate location. These wines display clean, fruit-driven characteristics from our small boutique vineyard. Grapes are hand-picked after slowly ripening on vines planted in deep, organic, clay-rich soils. Careful handling, attention to detail and a long relatively-dry growing seasons produce premium grapes. French Oak barrels are used to age these elegant wines giving them wonderful depth and aroma.
